Sometimes I feel weird calling myself a psychic. There is such a stigma attached to the 1-900 “Miss Cleo” readers- remember those commercials? Unfortunately, fakes will scam people just to make a buck, in just about any genre of sales or services. But, I like to consider myself one of the good guys and I hold myself to some pretty high standards. Ethics are essential when you’re dealing with people, their relationships, life path, issues from the past and possibilities in the future. I don’t take my job lightly and I have refused services to people whom I felt were just wasting their time or money.

When I first started reading for people other than friends and family, I didn’t charge much. I had a warming up period of about 6 months where I got more comfortable reading for complete strangers. Intuitive work is such an intimate and personal endeavor and at first I felt like I was being nosey, snooping in the inner workings of a person’s life, and seeing things that sometimes I was afraid would offend or hurt them if I spilled the beans. I also discovered though, with almost something like child-like wonder, that the Universe sent me some pretty awesome information to pass on to clients, too. Sometimes I’ve been shocked with the specifics that have come to me during a reading, but I suppose it’s better to be humble than to think you know everything.

I really don’t prefer labeling myself, and oftentimes I balk at credentials or titles. But it is understandable that potential clients would want to know what’s in my psychic tool belt, so I will indulge you. Firstly, I am a channel. What that means is my body is a conduit to the Universe. Everyone has this capability, and if your “natural” ability isn’t apparent, a little practice can do wonders! Aside from doing readings for others, I also offer training to help boost your own intuition.

As far as psychic skills go, I would consider myself an empath, channel and medium with skills such as clairvoyance, precognition, psychometry and telepathy. Oftentimes, these skills are used together to get a well-rounded picture during a reading. I am skilled in Tarot, Runes, pendulums and dowsing, automatic writing, scrying (tea leaves and coffee grounds, too), I sense and see auras and I have been known to conduct a séance on occasion.

I am also a Reiki Level 3 Master and offer energetic healing sessions which integrate Reiki, Medicine Drumming, Aromatherapy, Crystal Therapy and Intuitive Work. I'm a certified hypnotist and an Ordained Minister as well. I like having my bases covered.

I mentioned ethics earlier, and I wanted to revisit that topic for a sec. I don’t use my psychic abilities to nose around in people’s inner workings unless they’ve asked me to. I actually have to keep myself in a protective bubble when I’m out in the world or I’m inundated with thoughts and energy, which can get pretty tiring and overwhelming. I am sure that over the years I’ve meshed my intuition with how I think and act and when I meet someone for the first time, I’m sure I’m picking up on more than they might be disclosing on the surface. Under no circumstances though, do I spy on people just for the fun of it.
